João Cansado, goldsmith;

In addition to these, there are records of many more artists and artisans having worked at the Convent of Christ down through the centuries. The master builders Aleixo Antunes, Fernão Álvares and Pedro Antunes are just a few examples.
There are records of the involvement of scores of other tradesmen - including carpenters, glaziers, wood carvers and stucco workers - whose names can be found on the documents relating to the many works projects carried out at the Convent of Christ.
